The research phase focused on analyzing current trends in the cryptocurrency trading platforms, particularly those catering to professional traders. We examined the elements that contribute to a seamless user experience, such as real-time charting, intuitive wallet integration, and a modular approach that could handle complex trading actions on both desktop and mobile platforms.
The project brief aimed at designing a modular and high-performance crypto trading interface tailored for both desktop and mobile users. The objective was to create a system that would offer high-speed trading capabilities while maintaining clarity in user interactions.
We created wireframes that structured the platform’s primary components, focusing on critical features like chart displays, the order book, trade execution, and real-time tracking. Special attention was given to maintaining balance between functionality and simplicity.
Our UX research concentrated on understanding the needs and pain points of professional crypto traders. This included interviews with users, competitor analysis, and a study of how users interact with crypto exchanges.
The moodboard for Nexon reflects the cutting-edge nature of the platform. We selected dark, rich colors with accents of neon to represent the advanced functionality of the platform. The use of purple and darker tones evokes a sense of professionalism, while the neon highlights bring in the dynamic energy necessary for a fast-paced trading environment.
We explored several design directions that balanced the technical requirements of crypto trading with a visually engaging experience. The final design concept integrated sleek, professional-grade elements with bright neon accents to maintain clarity and focus on key data.
