The Intergiro Card Designer is an interactive tool designed to help users create and customize payment cards with ease.

This project provides an intuitive, step-by-step tutorial guiding users through various customization options, including backgrounds, elements, and mockups.

Task

The task was to create a highly interactive and customizable tool, the Intergiro Card Designer, allowing users to design and personalize their payment cards. This platform aimed to guide users step-by-step through the process, from selecting backgrounds to adding elements like logos, numbers, and text, while giving them the ability to see a realistic mockup of the card before finalizing the design.

Challenge

The challenge was to design a user-friendly interface that combined ease of use with robust customization options. It was crucial to ensure that the user journey was seamless, especially for users who are not familiar with card design. This required balancing a complex functionality with an intuitive, minimalistic design that didn’t overwhelm the user.

Results

The Intergiro Card Designer successfully provided a highly intuitive interface where users could easily create and customize their payment cards. The tutorial guided users through different stages, from setting backgrounds to adjusting elements and seeing their design on a realistic mockup. The clean and modern design of the platform ensured that users could navigate effortlessly, leading to high user engagement and ease of use.

Research

We conducted research on existing design tools and payment card customization platforms to identify key features that users expect and prioritize. By analyzing competitors, we determined the best practices for providing users with a seamless design experience while allowing flexibility in card customization.
Briefing

The objective was to create a tool that reflects Intergiro’s branding while making card design accessible and intuitive for all users, including those unfamiliar with graphic design. We focused on simplifying the customization process, ensuring a clear structure while maintaining flexibility for advanced users.
Wireframes

The wireframes were designed to provide a clear layout for users to move step-by-step through the customization process. The key sections included product selection, background and elements customization, and the card mockup area. This structure ensured that each design step was easy to navigate without overwhelming users with too many options at once.
UX Research

Through UX research, we explored how users engage with design tools and what elements they value most, such as ease of use and the ability to see real-time results. We focused on understanding user pain points, like feeling overwhelmed by choices, and worked to mitigate these issues by simplifying options and providing guidance.
Moodboard

The moodboard was developed to showcase a modern, sleek aesthetic that complements Intergiro’s branding. Using dark tones, sharp accents, and minimalistic design elements, we emphasized clarity and simplicity while highlighting key features like customization and mockups.
Design Concepts

Several design concepts were explored, ranging from minimalistic designs to more vibrant, high-contrast visuals. The final concept balanced intuitive user flow with visual clarity, ensuring that users could focus on customization without feeling lost. Elements such as large buttons, subtle animations, and clear call-to-action buttons ensured that users stayed engaged throughout the process.
UI Design

The UI design was focused on creating an easy-to-navigate, clean interface with a modern look. High contrast elements, large typography, and intuitive form components were used to enhance accessibility. The tool’s functionality was seamlessly integrated with the aesthetic design, ensuring users could personalize their cards efficiently.
